Overview
IslandDAO is a Solana builder DAO and network-state experiment that runs in-person retreats, focused weeks, and hackathons in places like Crete, Thailand, and Mykonos — governed on-chain through Realms under islanddao.org and @IslandDAO. The PERKS collection is the animal-themed event pass line that unlocks extras around those free-to-apply gatherings rather than gating entry itself.
Holder utility
PERKS holders unlock event extras such as bonus merch and holders-only side events at IslandDAO retreats and hackathons, while entry to the broader builder gatherings stays open without an NFT. Between events, the IslandDAO Discord and on-chain Realms governance keep the same builder community active with community calls and working groups.
